When Violence Silences Voices
On September 10, 2025, Utah Valley University became the site of a heartbreaking act of violence when Charlie Kirk was fatally shot during an event on campus. While I was not a follower of his work, I believe with conviction that violence is never the answer. The world doesn’t need more outrage—it needs more peacemakers, more listening, more love, and more critical thinking.
